NEW YORK -- Boston Red Sox pitcher Rick Porcello has won the American League Comeback Player of the Year award, while Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon received the National League honor.Porcello also won the Cy Young Award in his second season with the Red Sox, helping Boston to its second AL East title in four seasons. The right-hander went 22-4 with a 3.15 ERA over 33 starts. Porcello bounced back after going 9-15 with a 4.92 ERA in 2015. Theyre 0-7 in those games. At 3-4-1, Cincinnatis postseason run is in jeopardy. They won 11 games and reached the playoffs in Caldwells first season, but they started 1-7 in 2015 and needed a 6-2 finish to preserve his job. A collapse down the stretch could lead to Caldwells departure.TODD BOWLES: The Jets are 3-6 and reeling, a season after going 10-6 and narrowly missing the playoffs. Bowles could be gone if they continue to spiral downward.MIKE MCCOY: The Chargers tumbled to 4-12 last year after going to the playoffs in 2013 and finishing 9-7 in 2014, McCoys first two seasons.
